The Challenge

Despite officially spanning 4 days, Mexico Open’s operations commence two weeks in advance. This posed the challenge of not only handling the cashless® system at various points of sale throughout the tournament but also internally managing the food and beverage service for employees. This includes personnel in staff dining areas and other sections spread across the extensive 43 hectares of the venue, all during the demanding 17 hours of daily activities.

For the past 5 years, Mexico Open has entrusted mycashless to manage its food and beverage operations. The implementation of tokens has allowed them to align this system with employee dining areas, providing meticulous control over any beverages or food items destined for both attendees and staff. Additionally, with the Marketplace product, they optimized the ordering service by remotely sending orders to the food and beverage bars.
